In recent years, with the continuous progress of social development, industrial-grade displays serving outdoor use environments have been increasingly widely used. For example, ATM cash machines, vending machines, gas stations, charging piles and other intelligent terminal devices are used in outdoor or semi-outdoor environments.


However, outdoor high and low temperature changes, malicious human damage, wind and sun exposure and other environments will directly affect the stability of equipment use.


In order to meet customers' demand for high-performance touch display products, Fannuo Electronics R&D team provides corresponding solutions.


This solution is designed to cope with outdoor environments, so that touch display products can still operate stably under harsh conditions.


Anti-ultraviolet design: When serving outdoor application customers, we found that ordinary capacitive touch LCD display screen modules do not have anti-ultraviolet function due to long-term exposure to ultraviolet rays, so that when they are put into outdoor use, there will be problems such as paint discoloration and peeling, adhesive failure or yellowing, display screen blackening, display abnormality, etc., affecting the touch display function and making multimedia interaction lose a good experience. Therefore, the Fannuo Electronics R&D team invested a lot of research in UV protection design, collected different materials, improved the processes at each stage, and finally successfully designed an outdoor touch screen module with UV protection. The design has passed the solar radiation test, meets customers' stringent requirements for product performance and functions, and supports the smooth experience of terminal equipment in use.


Visible in the sun: When exposed to external sunlight, high-brightness light usually makes it almost impossible to recognize the display content on the general screen, the image fades, and the readability is reduced. Equipped with a sunlight-visible LCD screen, it can meet the requirements of extremely high ambient lighting conditions, and the screen content is readable and clear, ensuring the display quality.


Wide temperature: In extremely high or extremely low temperature environments, the operating temperature of ordinary display screens is roughly -20℃~+70℃. Once put into outdoor use, the screen will produce light decay, performance degradation and damage, greatly affecting the service life. Equipped with a wide-temperature LCD screen with an operating temperature range of -30℃~+85℃, the display screen can operate stably.


Anti-glare: The glass cover on the surface of the touch screen will reflect light in strong outdoor light, making the displayed content unclear and affecting operation. The touch screen with an anti-glare layer solves this problem and improves the user experience in outdoor applications.


Touch screen performance: Different use environments during outdoor use test the various touch performances of the touch display screen. For example, when used in rainy and snowy weather, rain interference can easily cause the touch screen to work unstably; when used with gloves, the touch screen cannot be effectively operated; in order to meet the needs of fluency and stability, the Fanuo Electronics R&D team continues to explore and improve the design, researches on the original capacitive touch technology, designs waterproof touch screens, and supports touch screens with gloves of different thicknesses to cope with operations in various environments.
