Product Information/Low-temperature Touch Display Solution
Among many applications, we have come across some customers who need ultra-low-temperature touch screens to be used with complete products in special environments, such as extremely cold regions, military equipment, or medical refrigeration equipment. Usually, these products need to be used in a working environment of minus 40°C. In combination with customer needs, Fannuo Electronics hereby launches a low-temperature touch screen solution of minus 40°C.
The touch screen needs to work in an environment of minus 40 degrees. The problems that usually need to be overcome are:
1. The operating temperature of ordinary industrial capacitive touch screens is usually -20℃~70℃. The operating temperature of car-mounted capacitive touch screens is usually -30℃~85℃. If used in an environment with low temperature, the water vapor content on the surface of the palm skin is low and the conductivity is poor, which affects the performance of the sensor, causing the industrial tablet computer to fail to identify the touch position well and the touch to fail.
2. As the temperature decreases, the viscosity coefficient of the liquid crystal molecules will also increase, causing the response of the liquid crystal molecules to weaken and the image to fail to display normally.
Starting from the requirements of wide temperature technology, after continuous testing and research by the R&D team, the derivative modules were designed to avoid the impact of low temperature environment on various components. Soon, a touch screen solution of -40℃ was successfully launched.
This solution has a unique design of heating compensation module and optional TFT display screen, which can meet the requirements of stable operation in -40°C environment. Combined with capacitive touch mode, the response speed is <20ms, and the touch screen has zero delay. At the same time, the touch screen adopts full lamination technology, which makes the operation more sensitive and the response faster, and can meet the complex operation requirements in low temperature environment.
After many tests and experiments, the display using this solution can fully meet the requirements of low temperature environment (-40℃). The power consumption of the display can be customized according to different sizes of the product at low temperature, and the overall production cost is low.
The product supports ODM/OEM full-scale customization, including cover, screen, use environment, interface, etc., and can support size: 3.5"≤ size≤32".
At the same time, the touch display module products meet industrial standards and have passed strict tests such as high and low temperature operation test, high and low temperature storage test, constant temperature and humidity test, temperature shock test, vibration test, drop test, salt spray test, steel ball impact test, ESD test and other reliability tests to ensure the stability and reliability of the product.
